When they are the right fit. Your provider completes a full medical evaluation by video, reviews your health history and labs where needed, and prescribes GLP-1 medication such as semaglutide or tirzepatide only when it is appropriate for you.
How do I get my medication?
When your provider prescribes medication, it is filled by a licensed pharmacy and shipped directly to your door, so you never have to pick it up. We walk through pricing and shipping details before you commit to anything.
How much does telehealth weight loss cost?
Our full weight loss program starts at $400, which includes the medical consultation, evaluation, and your personalized plan. Telehealth visits start at $50. Medication costs depend on which option your provider recommends, and we go over pricing with you up front.
Is a telehealth visit as good as coming in person?
For weight loss care, most of it is. Telehealth visits include the same provider evaluations, follow-ups, dosing adjustments, and medication management as in-person care. Treatments that are hands-on — injections given at the clinic, IV therapy, body sculpting — still happen in person in Encinitas, and we will tell you when that is the case.
Can I switch between telehealth and in-person visits?
Yes. Many patients start by video and visit the Encinitas clinic when they want hands-on treatments, and San Diego County patients often do the reverse — in person first, then follow-ups from home.
